Cardinal Check is a verification aid for licensed Kentucky medical cannabis dispensaries. It reads what a KYMCP card says, checks dates, links to the Commonwealth's verification page, and (when connected) surfaces Metrc data under your facility's own authorization.
It is not legal advice and not a substitute for your compliance obligations. The dispensary remains solely responsible for every sale decision and for compliance with KRS Chapter 218B, 915 KAR, and Metrc's terms. If Cardinal Check and a state system ever disagree, the state system wins.
One account per licensed location; managers are responsible for the staff they invite and for keeping credentials confidential. You must be a licensed Kentucky cannabis business (or its authorized staff) to use the service.
Integration keys you store remain yours, are used only for your location's operations, and can be removed by you at any time.
The service is provided "as is" during the pilot. We work hard to keep it fast and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to fees paid in the prior three months.
A patient account is a convenience for storing your own medical card image. It does not grant access to any dispensary system, does not verify or certify your patient status, and creates no relationship between you and any dispensary. Keep your card image current and your password private. Cardinal Check may remove accounts that upload content other than the account holder's own medical card.
